Childhood obesity and related conditions like type 2 diabetes have become more common among young people across the country, and Riverside and San Bernardino Counties are no exception. Kids growing up in our communities deserve access to structured physical activity, not just as exercise, but as a foundation for lifelong health.

More Than Just Fitness

At Vitality Development Foundation, our athletic training programs — including boxing and fitness training at Villegas Park in Riverside — are built around discipline, consistency, and community, not just calories burned. Kids who show up to train regularly build habits that carry into the classroom, at home, and into adulthood.

Why Local Matters

National health campaigns rarely reach neighborhood parks. That's the gap we're trying to close in Riverside and across Southern California — meeting kids where they are, in their own communities, with coaches and mentors who know their names.

We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2023, and every session we run is aimed at the same goal: helping local youth build strength, confidence, and healthy habits that last.
